Services / Network & Security

A reliable network, built around your operations.

Design, delivery and management of UniFi networks aligned with your organisation’s locations, users and critical processes.

UniFi Network Management & Security

The network is where locations, users and applications come together.

Reliability and security are not determined by equipment alone. Architecture, segmentation, lifecycle management, monitoring and follow-through determine whether a network continues to work in day-to-day practice.

NorthBridge starts with the connections the organisation depends on. From that context, we design and deliver a UniFi environment in which availability, security and operations reinforce one another.

We standardise where this strengthens continuity and management, and make necessary exceptions explicit. UniFi provides the technical foundation; NorthBridge delivers the configuration, management and integration with the wider IT service.

The outcome

Control over availability, security and change.

01

Visibility and control

A current view of network components, connections, capacity and relevant events.

02

Layered security

Segmentation, access policy and threat detection are designed and managed as one whole.

03

Management that keeps pace

Changes, updates and extensions are delivered in a controlled way and aligned with the organisation.

The utility model

Three levels of management, security and resilience.

The levels build on one another. The right fit depends on the network’s role, the impact of disruption and the need for active follow-through and periodic assurance.

U-MNS+
UniFiManaged Network & Security Plus

Periodic assurance, reporting and advice in addition to day-to-day management.

U-MNS
UniFiManaged Network & Security

Active monitoring, assessment and follow-through of relevant events.

U-MN
UniFiManaged Network

A manageable, demonstrably maintained foundation for the network environment.

U-MN

UniFi Managed Network

The technical foundation is monitored and maintained centrally. This creates a current view of the environment and keeps changes under control.

  • Availability and capacity monitoring
  • Software and firmware management
  • Configuration backup and recovery preparation
  • Periodic technical health review
U-MNS

UniFi Managed Network & Security

Alongside technical management, we assess security events and relate findings to the configuration and potential business impact.

  • Active monitoring, alerting and follow-through
  • Segmentation, firewall policy and IDS/IPS
  • Mitigating measures and controlled changes
  • Reporting on developments and findings
U-MNS+

UniFi Managed Network & Security Plus

The Plus layer adds periodic assurance to day-to-day management, revealing where technical vulnerabilities and organisational dependencies increase business risk.

Tenable
NorthBridge Resilience Assessment with Tenable

Tenable supports technical discovery and vulnerability analysis. NorthBridge connects the findings to processes, continuity and existing controls, and turns them into a deliverable improvement agenda.

  • Periodic vulnerability analysis with Tenable
  • Risk- and impact-led reporting
  • A concrete, prioritised improvement plan
  • Specialist penetration testing where it adds demonstrable value
UbiquitiUniFi CyberSecure

Current threat intelligence

More signals only add value when they are acted upon.

UniFi CyberSecure extends IDS/IPS on compatible UniFi gateways with threat signatures maintained by Proofpoint. Cloudflare supports enhanced content and domain filtering. Features and scope depend on gateway model, software version and subscription.

NorthBridge determines which categories, segments and policies fit the organisation, assesses alerts and turns findings into measures. This makes detection part of the management process, not merely a technical feature.
